Spooky + Tasty Halloween Cheeseboard

I can’t stop, won’t stop with the Halloween boards and this one is more of a classic cheeseboard with some fun additions! It is so tasty + festive for your Halloween party or activities and has a great mix of sweet, salty, and savory! Everything used can be found at Kroger on this one, but feel free to substitute items and make it your own! You can find the full list of ingredients and instructions for assembling below!

prosciutto

salami of your choice (I used Boar’s Head peppered salami)- sliced into bite sized pieces

yogurt or chocolate covered pretzels

1 orange pepper- sliced into bit sized pieces

beer cheese of your choice

dried apricots

black seedless grapes

blackberries

aged gouda cheese (with an orange rind)

salted mixed nuts

candy corn

dark chocolate pumpkin seed BarkThins

Lesley Stowe Raincoast Cheese Crisps (available at Kroger near deli or any kind of cheese cracker)

brie wedge or wheel

orange or black writing gel or icing

Boar’s Head chipotle gourmaise (available at Kroger in the deli section- or use any kind of mustard/sauce)

goat cheese or blue cheese with blueberries

Breton crackers (original)

crostini (I got mine pre-made in the Kroger deli bread section)

faux spiders (optional for garnish)

baby pumpkin (optional for garnish)

orange peppadew peppers (drained)

  1. Place your baby pumpkin in the middle of the board to start.

  2. Cut your brie into a coffin shape and write “RIP” using the writing gel or icing

  3. Next empty your beer cheese into a small white bowl or serving dish as well as the chipotle mayo. Add a serving spoon/knife for each. Place each bowl on opposite sides of the board.

  4. Add your prosciutto around one bowl and your sliced salami around the other.

  5. Add the remaining two cheese next. You can slice the gouda into bite sized pieces but leave one large chunk and place on the board rind up with a pile of the bite sized pieces in front. Place the blueberry cheese and aged gouda on opposite sides of the board.

  6. Next add the peppadews and bell pepper on the outer edges of the board on opposite sides to balance the bright orange color.

  7. Do the same with the blackberries and the grapes.

  8. Now you can fill in the holes with piles of the remaining items- both crackers, crostini, pretzels, apricots, and dark chocolate bark- evenly distributing the color throughout.

  9. Finally use the candy corn and mixed nuts to fill in any tiny holes and spaces left throughout!

  10. Add your little spiders if you wish throughout the board!

  11. Enjoy!
