Little Boy's Classic Americana Nautical Bedroom
If you’ve been following along with my design projects over the past year, you may remember this sweet little girl’s room update with gingham bedding and floral wallpaper. Next up, it was her brother’s turn for a little room revamp! We updated this little boy’s bedroom with some wallpaper, sconces, and a few pieces of wall decor to pull everything together and give it a little more of a grown-up feel that he will be able to continue to grow into! I love how the "faux shiplap” wallpaper turned out and you really would never know it’s not real until you get super close! Instead of lamps, we added these brass sconces which go perfectly with the nautical theme of the bedroom. They also are a great space saving option since there isn’t room for nightstands on both sides of the bed! He already had the plaid bedding and a lot of the wall decor which kind of inspired the rest of the design for the room. I found a vintage American Flag that is the perfect centerpiece for above the bed and matches all the other decor! Scroll down to see more of this space and shop the entire look!
