Holiday Home Tour 2019: Modern Cabin Entryway

The first room I’m sharing on this year’s holiday home tour is my entryway! This room recently got a little revamp as I added a new console table and redid the area above it as well with a new mirror + sconces (using the magic light trick!- more to come on that later). I used a bit of my more colorful decor in here this year including my vintage stocking, skis, red beaded garlands, and some vintage-inspired pillows. I love the pops of color with all the black and white, more modern items that are usually in here- like the rug, table, sconces, etc.

The table I found at the Domestic, which is an amazing new vintage shop in Lexington that has an incredible variety of furniture, rugs (like AH-mazing rugs), home decor, and clothing. I knew they would have something that would be exactly what I was looking for, and this table was the exact size and simple style I needed for for the space. It just needed a little paint (was originally brown) and some flat black spray paint made it super easy for me to do! I also plan on switching on the knobs in the future but they require a little more work so that will wait until after the holidays! `The table was only $85, so not only was it exactly what I was looking for but also so affordable! Another great reason to shop vintage- and definitely check out the Domestic if you love vintage furniture and home decor!

I decided to go for a cozy, cabin-chic look in here for the holidays and I love the mix of vintage + modern! A lot of the items I used are vintage but I’ve linked lots of similar items and my exact mirror, sconces, and rug too below! Let me know how you like the new look in the entryway and what your favorite part of the Christmas decor is below!

xoxo

Emily
