Kentucky Christmas Cookie Decorating Workshop
Join us for a fun evening of cookie decorating and coffee sipping at The Amsden in Versailles. Each decorator will receive a ticket for a free specialty coffee or hot chocolate to enjoy while the creative juices flow! This class will focus on an adorable Kentucky Christmas cookie set. Imagine a horse with a bridle adorned with gold bells, a cute Christmas mug topped with whipped cream and a striped straw and dotted and striped Christmas ornament! Each decorator will go home knowing the basics (royal icing 101) of decorating cookies with royal icing. You will also go home with a folder of my tried and true recipes and decorating tips. We will focus on the following in this class:
*How to outline and flood cookies using tips and tipless bags
*How to add dimension using edible paint
*How create easy yet impressive details with fondant and modeling chocolate
*How to create beautiful cookies using the wet on wet technique
*Using edible markers to enhance cookies
*You do not need to bring any supplies with you. I provide everything!
Minimum number of participants is 8 to hold the class so grab your gal pal to come along for the fun!!
