The Best Trader Joe's Beauty Products Haul: Part I
Good ol' TJ's is one of my favorite places to grab groceries, fresh flowers, and my dog's favorite treats, but who knew they would become my go-to for some amazing and affordable beauty products too?! I usually go to Trader Joe's at least once a week, sometimes more, and over the past couple of weeks I've picked up a few beauty items each visit. So far, I've loved everything I have tried and will definitely be buying all of these again (especially since everything is under $10)! Unfortunately Trader Joe's doesn't sell online, so I can't link these but be sure to check out your local Trader Joe's for these items! Some of them are newer and are just being rolled out in stores, so if they're not available in your area yet- they will be soon! I've given a quick review and rundown of each item below. Not only does this smell oh-so-amazing but it made my fine, thin hair SO silky and shiny without feeling greasy and weighed down. A little really goes a long way, so start with a small little squeeze first because it spreads really easily. I covered my hair with it, clipped it up into a bun, and left it on 5-10 minutes while I was in the bath. I could tell a difference in my hair as soon as I rinsed it out but even more so the next morning when I brushed through it and started styling it. It even smoothed my ends and flyaways a bit too! I'm obsessed with anything rosewater and loved this packaging immediately. This smells super light and clean and I love to use it at night after I've washed my face or in the mornings to set my makeup too. It adds a bit of dewy moisture to your skin and is also super gentle and refreshing feeling! Shop it here.
I've been obsessed with facial oils lately. Even though I tend to have oilier skin, I think I see the most difference in my complexion and fine lines when I'm using facial oils consistently. I feel like they really soak into my skin to moisturize and smooth fine lines much better than creams or lotions. Like the rosewater toner, this also has a super light, refreshing scent and the packaging is perfection. I've been using it before bed at night after I have washed my face. I've even used it a couple times with my facial cupping set and it is perfect for that. Shop it here.
If you have sensitive skin this is a must-have for you! It's so gentle and leaves your skin feeling super soft and moisturized while also getting all your makeup off easily without scrubbing or rubbing. Even if you have oilier skin like me, this will not leave you feeling greasy or disturb the natural balance of oils in your skin. I also love the scent which is light, fresh, and clean with a touch of coconut.
This is probably my favorite of all these products! Both the smell and the texture are out of control amazing and you can really feel it working on your skin. I will say, I do not have sensitive skin at all, and if you do, this might be a little too harsh for you. It definitely tingles/burns the first few times you use it, but I like that because I could tell it was doing something! I have used it as a scrub and as a mask, leaving it on a bit longer, and I really like it both ways. It leaves you skin feeling so smooth, soft, and glowing like you just had a facial! Shop it here.
I love keeping a thick hand cream in my purse since I'm constantly washing my hands throughout the day and I'm also a bit obsessed with moisturizing. Not only does this have such pretty packaging but it's super thick and moisturizing and smells SO clean and fresh. It definitely keeps my hands moisturized too without leaving any greasy residue.
