Our Fixer Upper: Nursery Updates

We have less than a month (hopefully) to go before Baby Woodford’s arrival which inspired some serious nesting and nursery work this past week! I dedicated two days to putting away and organizing 2 shower’s worth of gifts and hanging shelves, artwork, curtains, and decor. We also got our overhead light installed this week, so I finally have some light in here when it’s dark out! I feel so relieved that the bulk of decorating and prep in here in complete now and I only really have a few finishing touches left which I should be able to work on this week. I know everyone says not to worry about the nursery because you won’t use it at first BUT: I’m a strong believer that you need to fully complete projects before you start another; so I feel like if the nursery isn’t complete BEFORE the baby arrives, there’s no way it’s getting done while taking care of a newborn! I’d rather go ahead and have this marked off my list and complete even if it sits empty for a few months.

As I’ve shared some sneak peeks of the nursery, I’ve had a lot of questions about sources of items and decor so I linked all my favorite pieces for you to shop below. I also listed paint colors and some more details below that too! I’m excited to reveal the full before + after of this space in a few weeks! As always if you have any questions about anything not listed, just leave a comment and I’d be happy to answer!

xoxo
