Flower Power

This weekend I have been dressing in nothing but maxis to conceal my poor legs that are covered in poison ivy!  Somehow I got into some poison ivy or poison oak in our yard while weeding last week and now have a horrible rash on both ankles and parts of my legs.  It has finally stopped itching and spreading (I hope!), but will take a week or so to fully heal. In the meantime, I have been pulling some maxi skirts and dresses out of my closet that haven't seen the light of day in quite a while!  This outfit combines some of my favorite summer vintage staples: chunky wedges, a basket purse, denim top, + floral skirt!  Vintage skirts are my favorite because they have the BEST prints and are always super fitted at the waist, which is my favorite silhouette to wear.  It is hard to find modern skirts that fit as well as these as many vintage skirts were handmade, paying attention to the tiniest of details.  This entire outfit is vintage except for my choker necklace which adds a little bit of a modern touch to the look.  You can find this essential summer choker in our shop and I promise you will be wearing it with everything!

xoxo
