Festival Dreaming

This week I have been stalking Instagram non-stop for photos from my favorite fashion event of the year, Coachella.  Coachella is a giant annual music festival in California that has transformed into a total fashion event, attracting just about every celebrity, model, and fashion blogger from all over the world (think modern-day Woodstock).  The best part of the outfits here is that there are truly no rules- everyone goes all out and takes risks with their outfits.  I also love it because there are SO many vintage trends that are constantly popping back up, from all out hippie garb to 80's styles to 90's grunge.  You can get away with wearing just about anything and pile on as many accessories, braids, and as much fringe as you want!  I am constantly dreaming up my festival wardrobe, and even though I may never attend Coachella,  I am still inspired by the trends there and can incorporate them into my daily wardrobe.  This vintage floral halter jumpsuit I snagged from local vintage shop, Fox House Vintage, is the perfect festival statement piece (and also comfortable and cool enough to wear all day).  I paired it with my favorite lace-up flats from Target, a simple gold body chain, and hippie-esque round sunglasses.  To me this outfit is the perfect toned-down version of festival style that you could wear everyday!  What are you favorite festival trends this year?

xoxo
