Weekend Wardrobe: Flannel + Fringe

One of my favorite fall transitional outfits is pairing boots with shorts.  It's the easiest way to wear some of your favorite fall pieces without looking too bundled up and still staying comfortable when it's sunny and warm out.  I love to add some fall layers on top to balance out the look- flannels, slouchy sweaters, light jackets, vests, or flowy cardigans all work perfectly.  This crochet fringed vest from Target has gotten a lot of wear in both the summer and fall- it's perfect for throwing on over dresses, blouses, or basic tees!  I paired it with a vintage slouchy flannel, some layered necklaces, vintage cut-offs, and added even more fringe with these casual booties.  I obviously can't get enough flannel or fringe- I keep wearing these fall staples over and over again!
