4th of July Dessert Board

all baked goods were purchased pre-made in the bakery section of my grocery! You can definitely make your own if you wish!

Cherries

Strawberries

Blueberries

Raspberries

Blackberries

Red, white, and blue M&ms

Dot’s pretzels (or any pretzel sticks)

Mini marshmallows

Yogurt covered pretzels (I found 4th of July decorated ones at my grocery)

Mini cherry tarts

Powdered donut holes

Pound cake (sliced)

Lemon cake sliced

Strawberry wafer cookies

4th of July sugar cookies

Cream cheese fruit dip: combine 8 oz softened cream cheese, juice of 1 lemon, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and a splash of vanilla (top with sprinkles if you like!)

  1. First add a bowl to the center of your bowl or tray.

  2. Mix up the fruit dip and add to this center bowl, decorate with sprinkles and fruit for garnish!

  3. Place your lemon cake and pound cake in slices around your bowl.

  4. Continue moving throughout the board placing small piles of each baked good, make sure to evenly space colors throughout (don’t put all red next to each other for example!)

  5. After you have placed the baked goods, fill in with the fruits, keeping the same idea of color balance in mind!

  6. Save your very small items like blueberries, marshmallows, and M&ms for the end- fill in any tiny holes or gaps with these!

  7. You can also garnish the edges of your board with strawberries to finish it off!
