Dream Powder Room Makeover
This powder room definitely makes a statement! I learned so much while completing this installation for a client. This was the first time I removed a sink on my own, AND we also wallpapered this whole space ourselves!
This powder room is my style through and through! I loved accessing this space with all the vintage touches that fit in perfectly. We were able to add some character by adding wainscotting around the bottom half of the walls and painting it.
The client requested a true Kelly green, but a little moodier, and I think the color we chose fits the bill perfectly! We ended up using Billiard Green by Sherwin Williams (which is on my list of favorite green paint colors! You can find my other favorite shades of green by clicking here!). We painted the full ceiling and all the trim in the same color in a glossy finish! I even had my painter paint the plastic bathroom ceiling fan, too, so it would be seamless and blend!
The wallpaper for this space was William Morris in Pimpernel! It really made the perfect statement!
The sink is Kingston Brass from Lowes, and the faucet came from Home Depot. It gave the perfect vintage feel! Iβll also link the drain kit down below that is needed for this sink in order to have the same look - otherwise, plumbers will just use a basic PVC! We also used an ornate wall mirror passed down from the clientβs grandmother that fit perfectly into this space. And when I tell you that we take care of ALL the details - that includes even down to the electrical outlet covers!
