Our Next Fixer Upper: Boutique Hotel + Distillery
SURPRISE- we've got a new fixer upper project: A BOUTIQUE HOTEL + DISTILLERY! Alex and I along with our friend + business partner, Jarrod Williams , are excited to be working to bring another fun project to downtown Versailles! We are finishing fundraising now and still have a lot to do to make this a reality, but we have great support and are excited to make this dream a reality for our investors, partners, and the town! The project will include a boutique hotel, distillery, and restaurant that will focus on providing the essential Kentucky experience to our guests and our local community. Just like with The Amsden and our home, I'll be taking you along every step of the way through the renovation and design process so you can see the transformation (and then come celebrate with us and see it in person when it opens)!
This will definitely be my biggest design project to date, but we're so excited to get started and bring a truly unique, luxury hotel experience unlike anything else in Kentucky right to downtown Versailles. We have been dying to share this news for MONTHS as we've been working behind the scenes, which we know resulted in a lot of conflicting information being spread around (especially in a small town)- so please just know if you don't hear it here, it's probably not true! We have not officially announce the location yet but are working on a couple of different options at the moment. I'll be sharing everything I can as far as details as soon as things are finalized.
