Weekly Favorites
Here's a few of my favorite finds + inspirations that I'm loving this week:
Ever since I came across the above photo on Pinterest, I've been considering one of these basket light fixtures for my mudroom. Wicker pendants are so traditionally thought of as very beachy chic, but I love all the texture and warmth they add to these super simple + minimal spaces too. I've linked some of my favorites for you to shop below (just click on any photo to see pricing/details), as well as a few more inspiration photos. I also found this great tutorial for making your own from a vintage basket too!
I grabbed a pair of these this week from Madewell and I think I've found my new favorite summer short! They are so soft and comfortable and the drawstring top prevents the major gap at the waist I get with most shorts that I try on. They are also a very flattering length (which is hard to come by lately), have pockets, and a little frayed detail at the edges- the perfect easy, breezy everyday piece for summer! AND they're on sale for under $30 right now!
This photo stopped me in my tracks this week and I immediately showed it to my husband and said "Build me this!" Besides loving the overall styling of this modern + clean space, I really am drawn to this unique twist on the sliding barn door. I like how different this is from the other super rustic sliding barn door options and anything matte black with a pop of brass is a go in my book!
As soon as I saw this new addition on Magnolia's site, I knew it was the perfect wallpaper for my laundry room wall. It has a watercolor look which softens the black and white pattern so it is not too stark, and it also makes it much easier to match when hanging! Their wallpaper is also pre-pasted making it super easy to hang AND it's removable too! Wallpaper has come a long way since the 80's and it's much easier to install and remove than it used to be, so don't be afraid to try it! I'm already plotting which Magnolia wallpaper I may try next!
xoxo
