Our Fixer Upper: Coffee Shop Inspo

     From the beginning of this project we had a very clear vision for the downstairs of the Amsden and purchased the building with specific business ventures in mind.  There's currently no local coffee shop in downtown Versailles and we just think that's something every little cute town should have!  

     What I envision for our space is something cozy, unique, that perfectly blends the original historical character of the building with modern design.  I want this shop to be unlike anything else in Kentucky and I will probably be way too picky over every detail, but in the end I hope we have something that draws people from all around central Kentucky.  Thankfully I have the world of Pinterest to collect inspiration after inspiration for my design of this space and I may just have a few too many ideas at the moment!  In the coming weeks I will start narrowing down my choices and work towards a more concrete design plan so I can start choosing flooring, fixtures, and lighting.  I wanted to share a few of my coffee shop inspirations so that you could get a little mini preview of what I'm picturing for this space!  Take a look at my favorites below and let me know what you think- which details stand out to you and what elements would you love to see at Rise + Grind?
