Weekend Wardrobe: All Wrapped Up

The wrap dress is one of the most classic and versatile silhouettes of all time that is flattering on just about every body type.  Though the style originated in the 1930's-40s, fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg is most well-known for "inventing" the wrap dress.  Her signature printed wrap dresses premiered in the early 70's and are still extremely popular today.   I immediately fell in love with this bright and bold wrap dress from The Shabby Apple boutique because of the classic vintage-inspired silhouette and bohemian print.  The Shabby Apple is the cutest online boutique that specializes in vintage-inspired clothing and swimwear, and I am so thrilled to have found them!   I played up the 70's bohemian vibe of the dress with these Free People leather clogsfaux fur Anthropologie pursetassel necklace, and vintage bangles.  The material of this maxi is so soft and comfortable, and also casual enough to dress up or down.  Did I mention the dress is also long-sleeve so it's perfect for year-round wear?  Be sure to check out Shabby Apple for more adorable wrap dresses, maxis, and more!

xoxo
