Weekend Wardrobe: Leopard + Rose

Nothing brightens up a winter wardrobe like a pop of cotton-candy pink!  Chunky knits also seem extra cozy in pale pastels and pair oh-so perfectly with faux furs and animal print jackets.  I just love the color combination and cheerful look of this fur pom beanie from Anthropologie- I seen to keep planning all my outfits around it lately.  It's currently unavailable online, but check your local stores and they may have a few left (it came in several different but equally adorable color combinations!).  I paired it with one of my favorite slouchy knit sweaters (from Target last year- similar here), and H&M jeans.  For an extra pop of pattern I threw on this vintage leopard coat, one of my treasured vintage staples that I found many years ago at a flea market (for $10!).  Finally, if you are looking to buy some duck boots this season, I highly recommend the Rip Water Duck Boots from Sperry.  They are shorter than the traditional duck boot, you can slip them on so easily, and they are lined in the softest, warmest shearling- truly the perfect winter boot.  They are so comfortable that I end up wearing them all day and forget that I have them on!
