Weekend Wardrobe: Chambray + Gingham

Summer means dressing like a picnic even when you aren't going on a picnic, right?  I have realized the majority of my summer wardrobe is geared towards picnics/farmer's market trips and I think I'm ok with that.  I love fun prints for summer like gingham, florals, and stripes, and a-line mini skirts are the most comfortable and flattering way to wear them.  I have a collection of older Forever21 a-line mini skirts like this gingham one, and they are my go-to summer skirts year after year.  I am just IN LOVE with this super soft and flowy chambray kimono top from Antropologie.  Even better it's now on SALE, and I truly think it's a must-have piece that you will wear year after year and during all seasons.  I never can get enough chambray and this top has a super minimal and modern cut to set it apart from classic chambray blouses.  It is also super comfortable and flattering and will look great with pants, skirts, or shorts!  I finished the look with my favorite platform wedges and a mix of layered Stella + Dot and vintage jewels.
