Like you mentioned, I'd love to make this space super feminine and vintage but also fresh + comfortable. I think you could definitely use the bedroom set you have, it's gorgeous! I would make the bed the focal piece by centering it on one of the walls. I think we could also use that old wood pie safe/cabinet in the corner and style it real cute (filled with blankets and linens maybe?). We could possibly paint it and distress it or it might be fine as-is. For the bedding I would love to do layers of ruffled, neutral bedding and quilts, maybe mix in a few vintagey floral prints too- make it super full + cozy looking. I would definitely do a sweet, vintage chandelier of some sort as the light fixture (I've linked some possibilities for you at the end of this post). I'd do a pale color on the wall, maybe a very soft pastel or white or gray. See below for some of my inspirations and ideas:
This is exactly what I'm picturing for the bedding and overall style. Love the white walls, candlesticks and distressed wood accents, and pretty printed rug. I think we could do a similar style rug over your carpet for the time being to dress it up.
I also love these soft pink walls and sweet little chandelier. The bedding is soft and layered and I like the distressed side table too (you might have something similar we could distress and paint for the room). The cabinet in the corner reminded me of the one you had too!
This photo reminded me of the bedroom furniture you had with the dark wood- I think it looks so pretty with all the white walls and bedding! This room has a ship-lap focal wall behind the bed which is also something we could do!
I also love this room with some touches of tan and pale yellow walls. I'd love to get some architectural pieces to decorate the room like old shutters, moldings, etc.
This bedding is some of my favorite- I love all the ruffled and layers. I'm picturing some really light, soft curtains like these (I've linked some below). I'd also like to decorate the walls with some vintage floral paintings too.
Another pretty chandelier and flowy bedding- love all the white and neutral colors!
I love how simple and classic this white and beige room looks- we could style your vanity with some pretty vintage bottles, trays, etc. like this.
Another bedroom with some vintage pieces mixed in and a little more color.
I love this lacey bedskirt and pretty bedding- also love the blue color they used on the bedside table. I think your bedroom furniture would look so pretty with all this white and soft pastels.
Baby blue walls- also very pretty! Love the old window as a wall accent. See some of my decor picks below (you can click on any of them to see prices/more info!):
In the bathroom, you could easily update the space with just a few changes. I would switch out the faucet and light fixture with more farmhouse feel oil rubbed bronze fixtures (I've picked some at the end of this section). I think your vanity is cute and we could paint the base a pale pastel color if you wanted and distress it. If you wanted to go all out, we could also replace the vanity with a vintage furniture piece and place a vessel sink top on top of it. I would remove the medicine cabinet above the sink and replace it with a pretty mirror. I would do some kind of open shelving or distressed cabinet/shelf above the toilet for extra storage. I like the towel bars and think you should keep those. On the walls I would just do a softer color, a neutral or pale pastel. See below for some more ideas and inspiration photos:
I love this mirror, the colors, and distressed wood details.
A pretty soft pastel bathroom- we could also add some little shelves and ledges around your sink area for some extra storage. I also like this cute mirror and the little decorative trinkets around the sink area.
This is what I'm picturing for above the toilet for some extra storage- I can also organize the inside too with some pretty jars, bowls, and vintage organizers.
Love the floral painting, mirror, and pretty jewelry organizers- if you would like some jewelry storage in here, we can add that to the walls too!
Love this pretty bathroom with a collage of vintage paintings and mirrors, gorgeous gold mirror, and floral wallpaper. If you are interested we could possibly wallpaper the bathroom or do one focal wall for a pop of floral print (wallpaper is back!) !
I also thought it might be fun to do a sliding barn door into the bathroom- we could use an old vintage door and distress it- see above and below for examples! The light fixture in the above photo is also very similar to one that I picked for your space.
Love the idea of using a vintage ladder for storage in the bathroom.
Another idea for storage above the toilet- also like this floating open shelf option. I could organize it for your with some cute baskets, jars, and bottles.
Love this turquoise bathroom with pretty vintage mirrors, distressed shelf, and oil rubbed bronze faucet. I would use the same paint color options from above for the bathroom. I think I would lean towards more a white/neutral in the bedroom and soft blue/pastel in the bathroom. Below are some of my decor picks:
