Gathered Living
Hi, I’m Emily, a decorator and lifestyle blogger at Gathered Living and owner of The Amsden in Versailles, Ky. While I was born and raised in Lexington, Ky, I moved to Versailles in 2016 with my husband, Alex. The town has captured our hearts ever since, and revitalization of historic properties has been our mission.
Much of this online space houses ideas from home renovation, fixer upper projects, DIYs, recipes, and design projects - while also connecting you to The Amsden (our coffee shop) and Gathered Mercantile (my shop!)
Due to the success and following created by my renovation posts, I began working with clients to transform their spaces through my customizable and affordable decorating services. My signature design style is a mix of vintage, transitional, affordable, and eclectic - though I love to design for all different styles and spaces.

Gain guidance, hands-on styling, and installation from start to finish with my in-person design services. I like to call this the “don’t lift a finger” package! No job is too big or too small - we can furnish an entire room from scratch, hang a gallery wall, or help you with shelf styling.
